What it’s like working together
Beginning the Design
Every window starts out as just an idea. Once I have a few ideas in mind, the sketching process begins. I prefer the old school way of pencil and paper. I keep the client involved in this process and together we find a design that we are both excited about.
Glass Selection
Selecting the right glass is just as important as having a quality design and the client needs to part of this decision too. Understanding the ethereal element of light and how it affects the window and the space it will live in is essential and so enjoyable to see all the possibilities.
Fabrication
Once everything is selected, the work begins. I use age old techniques to build windows that will last. I use both copper foil and lead came techniques and make sure the client understands and is comfortable with the whole process.
